Parker VH 12 gauge serial number 234973 made circa 1932.   This is an excellent all original Parker with fine shooting dimensions.  The barrels are 28 inches with excellent bores, choked modified and full.  Length of pull is 14 inches from the front trigger over the original Parker Dog's Head butt plate.  Drop at heel is 2 1/2 inches and drop at comb is 1 5/8 inches.  Weight is light for a 12 gauge at 7 pounds. This Parker is built on a 1 1/2 frame.  The chambers are 2 3/4 inches in length.  Excellent original barrel blue and quite a bit of bright and vivid original case color remaining on the action.  Original crack free stock and fore end with most of its original varnish.  There is a Very small 1/4 chip at the toe but not the butt plate.  Excellent un-turned screws.   Tight on face and on hinge and the top lever is slightly to the right of center. This is just an excellent all original Parker with perfect shooting dimensions.  Its very difficult to fnd them this nice and still original.   It will make a great hunting partner while it increases in value over the years.
