Sale Pending 5-28-18   Rare Iver Johnson 28 gauge Skeet-er Doule barrel.  Serial Number S6652E.  Made Circa. the early 1930's as a highly optioned Skeet shotgun.  26 inch barrels choked Skeet and Skeet with twin ivory beads.  Factory Miller selective trigger with the selector being the tang safety.  Three positions with safe being the center, right barrel first forward and left barrel first rearward.  Other options include automatic  ejectors and beavertail fore end.  Great shooting dimensions; Length of pull is 14 1/2 inches from the mid-position Miller single trigger over the original Iver Johnson Owl Butt Plate  Drop at heel 2 1/4 inches, Drop at comb 1 1/2 inches. This shotgun is tight on face with excellent bores and ready to shoot.  There is a little play on hinge only.  Weight is just under 7 pounds.  This Rare 28 Gauge Skeet-er was expertly restored by Griffin & Howe many years ago and looks fntastic.  The original stock & Fore end are 2xx fancy and really have great eye apeal.  If you are looking for one of the rarest Skeet-ers around, this is it.
