Parker Bros. Meriden Ct.  DHE 20 Gauge.  Serial number 195498 made circa. 1922.  This 20 Gauge DHE Parker is listed in the PARKER GUN SERIALIZATION & IDENTIFICATION Book and will letter as it is.  Condition is very nice. Original stock and fore end have nice figure and sharp original checkering.  We also believe the wood finish is original.  There is a small tight crack at the right side of the top tang that is solid and about 3/4 of an inch in length.  The TITANIC STEEL barrels are in great shape with very nice bores and a nice edge band at the muzzle.  The Barrel Blue has been nicely and correctly refinished in the past.  Strong ejectors and proper trigger function.  There is a slight bit of play on hinge but the shotgun is tight on face with the lever slightly to the left of center. Nice screws and engraving with little to no original case coloring remaining.  Excellent shooting dimenions: Length of pull is 14 inches from the front trigger over the ORIGINAL Skeleton Steel Butt.  The barrels are 26 inches with their original 2 1/2 inch chambers. Bore diameters are Right .618 with a constriction of .005 and Left bore diameter is .619 with a constriction of .011.  (Improved Cylinder & Light Modified)  Weight is 6 lbs. 6 oz.  Drop at heel is 2 1/2 and drop at comb is 1 1/2.  This is an excellent Small Bore Parker DHE with great dimensions.
