AH Fox A Grade 12 Gauge Double Barrel Shotgun. Serial number is 32739 made circa. 1928 during the the Golden Age of side by side shotguns in Philadelphia Pa. Condition is truly excellent and all original. 30 inch Chromox Steel barrels with excellent bores and 95% original barrel blue. Sharp A Grade receiver engraving with over 50 percent original case colors. Trigger guard blue is also excellent at 50 percent with just some wear at the rear portion from hand contact over the years. Tight on face and ready for another 90 years. The original stock and fore end are in great shape. Sharp original checkering and most of the original wood finish remains. Great shooting dimensions: Length of pull is 14 inches from the front trigger over the ORIGINAL Fox hard rubber butt plate. Drop at heel is 2 3/4 inches. Drop at comb is 1 1/2 inches. Chambers are their original 2 1/2 inches. Bore diameters are Right barrel .726 with a choke constriction of .020. The left barrel bore diameter is .726 with a choke restriction of .042 (Modified & Full) This is a high original condition AH Fox A Grade. It has had no Non-Factory alterations and is a TOP Collector Grade Fox that you will be proud to take to the field.
