AH Fox late early CE grade 12 gauge. Serial number 21308 made circa 1914. Probably one of the last batch of Fox shotguns with Krupp barrels made just before the start of WW1. Superb condition with sharp C engraving and strong traces orf original case color. The engraving of the Setter on the underside of the action is much more detailed than you usually see on a C grade. Excellent original barrel blue on the 30 inch Krupp barrels with some common blue wear at the carry areas. Excellent shiny bores and the chokes are Full and Full. Chambers are 2 3/4 inches. Strong ejectors and tight lock up. Excellent original stock and fore end were lightly freshened a while ago. Great checkering with no repairs that we see. Original hard rubber butt plate and the length of pull is 14 inches from the front trigger. Dimensions are good; 1 1/2 drop at comb and 2 1/2 drop at heel. Weight is 8 lbs. This is just a fine old early CE Fox that is in collector condition.
