Fox 20 Gauge Sterlingworth XXXX Exhibition upgrade.  Serial number 260347 was originally produced in 1928, this very fine Fox was restored and upgraded, most likely in the early years at Turnbull.  It now features an exhibition XXXX fancy English stock with matching fore end and a great looking checkered skeet style butt treatment.  100% case colors and wood finish.  Flawless correct style checkering.  Superb wood to metal fit everywhere.  Lock up and all mechanics are excellent.  By far the BEST upgrade of a Fox shotgun that we've ever seen.  Specifications are 20 gauge with 26 inch barrels choked IC and Mod. Chambers are 2 1 /2.  Length of pull is 14 3/8.  Drop at heel is 2 and drop at comb is 1 1/4. Weight is light at 5 3/4 pounds.  A real attention grabbing Fox small bore.  It's the prettiest Sterlingworth you will ever see.
