Lefever Nitro Special Double Barrel in outstanding original condition.  Serial number is A268510 made circa 1929.  Most of the bright vivid receiver case colors remain.  Excellent original barrel blue with bright bores.  The barrels are 26 inches in length and the chokes are marked 2 & 4 for Modified and Full.  This shotgun still has its original hard rubber butt plate.  The original length of pull is 13 1/2 from the front trigger over the butt plate.    The original wood varnish is really nice as is the original checkering.  There are two tight cracks at the head on either side that do not move and are not open.  There is also a tight crack at the bottom rear of the fore end that is not open and stable.  This fine little .410 is tight and on face. There are not many original Lefever .410's from 1929 in better original condition than this one.
