AH Fox Late B Grade 12 gauge double barrel shotgun. The serial number is 24042 and the year of manufacture is 1917. This is an original straight grip B Grade Fox with the Kautzky single selective trigger. The barrels are 28 inches and are choked modified and full. The chambers are 2 3/4 inches. The barrel blue is original and nice with some honest use wear. There are no dents dings or repairs and the bores are excellent. The original late B Grade Gough style engraving is sharp and looks excellent with only traces of case color remaining. The original straight stock is solid with great wood to metal fit. There is an older Pachmayr recoil pad present and the length of pull is 13 1/4" inches from the rear position Kautzky single trigger over he pad. The beavertail fore end is nice and solid but was most likely added during the Savage era of Fox production. The checkering on the fore end matches the stock. Lock up is tight and the lever is slightly to the right. This is a rare and featured up late B Grade Fox 12 gauge.
