Sold 7/24/23 Offered is an outstanding and super rare Remington Model 760 "Five Diamond" pump rifle in .222 Rem caliber.  The serial number is 307147 and the year of production is 1957.  This is one of only 947 .222 caliber Five Diamond 760s ever made.  Condition is excellent and all original.  There is at least 96% of the original blue with just a touch of very light high edge wear but certainly nothing major.  The original trigger does show some marks from a trigger shoe being installed at sometime in the past.   There are no marks from a scope base and the filler screws are present.  The original sights are there and in fine shape. The original Five Diamond stock and fore end retain nearly all of their original varnish and are there are no cracks, chips or repairs.   The aluminum Remington butt plate is in great shape.  The bore is excellent and the action is smooth.  This is a great collection grade .222 Rem Model 760 Five Diamond that would be difficult to upgrade.  Its one of the best that you are likely to find.
